GreyStone Power Moves HQ To New 4-Building Campus In Hiram

GreyStone Power's new headquarters is on Hiram Douglasville Highway near the center of the utility's eight-county service area.

HIRAM, GA — In its first major expansion in more than 30 years, GreyStone Power Corp. opened its new headquarters in Paulding County with a ribbon-cutting Monday. The four-building campus on Hiram Douglasville Highway in Hiram is spread over 63 acres near the geographic center of GreyStone’s eight-county service area.

“Due to the cooperative’s success and growth, we vastly outgrew out space in Douglasville,” said GreyStone President and CEO Gary Miller. “Our new headquarters was planned in such a way that we can incorporate growth for the next 10 years."

Last year, the Douglas County School System announced it would purchase GreyStone’s old headquarters on Veterans Memorial Highway for $12.5 million to house district employees. Between that sale, the sale of its Dallas district office and money already in the bank, GreyStone was able to build its new campus without incurring new debt, according to GreyStone spokesperson Ashley Kinnard.
