Heavy Rainfall May Lead To Bus Delays: Paulding County BOE

DALLAS, GA—Heavy rainfall that is expected in the forecast could cause bus delays Tuesday morning, according to the Paulding County Board of Education.

School district officials say they are working with county and public safety workers to identify potential road closures due to flooding.

"Will know exact areas Tuesday. Appreciate your patience as we work to transport students safely and efficiently," school district officials wrote in a tweet.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a 90 percent chance of rain in the forecast for Tuesday. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch are possible.
