This project is a SPLOST-funded project, and will address many aspects along Main Street including the replacement of the existing water main (and service connections), adding sidewalks, improving stormwater, adding curb and gutter, and adding street lighting.

Construction activities have started, with the contractor (Georgia Development Partners) installing boundary markers, and erosion control measures (to safeguard properties and streams).

The term of the project is 180 days, or six (6) months.

While there will be some inconveniences during the project, we are hopeful there will be few, and relatively small. If you should have any questions, please feel free to contact me, at 770-943-3726 x2004, or by email, at jpalmer@hiram-ga.gov, for assistance.

Thank you for your patience as we attempt to make these improvements for the City of Hiram
