Man Arrested, Charged With Shooting Death Of Roommate: Police
A Paulding County man has been arrested and charged in the shooting death of his roommate.

PAULDING COUNTY, GA — A man has been arrested and charged in the shooting death of his roommate.
On Sunday March 3, at 8:12 p.m. Paulding deputies responded to 157 North Springs Way Acworth, Paulding County, reference a shooting that had just occurred. When deputies arrived, they discovered Billy Sherman Vaughn Jr., 43, deceased inside the home. Sherman resided in the residence with his roommate Max Penny.
According to detectives, Vaughn had been shot by his roommate Max Daniel Penny, 40. Penny was arrested and charged with felony voluntary manslaughter.

Penny is currently being held in the Paulding County Jail without bond.
