Man Shot, Dies Friday At Paulding Apartment Complex: Sheriff

A 31-year-old male was found mortally wounded by gunshots Friday morning in the parking lot of a Paulding County apartment complex.

DALLAS, GA — A man found Friday morning at a Dallas apartment complex by Paulding deputies, apparently wounded by a gun, has died from his injuries.

Lindsey Darnell Foster, 31, was found “with wounds consistent of that from gunfire” in the parking lot of the Country Gardens Apartments on Harmony Path, according to statement from the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office. The deputies were there to answer a 911 call just after 5:30 a.m. reporting gunfire.

“Despite their best efforts, Fire/EMS could not revive the gravely injured man,” Sgt. Ashley Henson said in the email.

At this time, there are no suspects in custody for Foster’s death, which Paulding officials say they are investigating as a murder.
