C. Grady Lockhart, age 69 of Villa Rica, GA, formerly of Douglasville, passed away, Wednesday, July 15, 2015. He was born October 17, 1945 in Tifton, GA. He loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and playing golf. Grady was a retired iron worker with Iron Workers Local Union 387, a school bus driver for the Paulding County School System and was an active Deacon of the Beulah Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife of 49 years, Charlotte Hand Lockhart; son, Chris Lockhart and his wife, Sonya; daughter Shannon Moon and Chris Moon; grandchildren: Victoria Moon, Will Moon, Shelby Moon, Gage Lockhart and Noelle Lockhart sisters: Robbie Tippins and husband, Bobby, Gay Lang, Carolyn Willis, Charlene Sanders, Amy Kendrick; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Clarence Lockhart and mother, Velma Graham Lockhart, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, July 20, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Beulah Baptist Church with Dr. Wayne Bray and Pastor Tony Samples officiating. He will lie in state at the church from1 to 2 PM. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Lucas Hand, Sam Hand, Joey Hand, Kevin Hand, Jeromie Hand, Will Moon, Gage Lockhart and Reilly Hand serving as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Beulah Deacons and his Sunday School Class.
The family will receive friends, Sunday, July 19, 2015 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to the Beulah Baptist Church Building Fund.
