Hiram High School To Host Meeting On New Magnet School

The Hiram High School Academy of Computer Science magnet school will launch this coming fall and the application process starts in February.

DALLAS, GA - The Hiram High School Academy of Computer Science magnet school will launch this coming fall and the application window for interested students opens Feb. 3.

There will be an informational meeting at 6:30 pm Jan. 23, at the Hiram High School Performing Arts Center. The meeting is for rising ninth graders and their parents.

"I think parents and students will be pleased to see that next year there will be additional support for our Exceptional Students Educational Programs," said said Superintendent Dr. Brian Otott last year in a press release about the budget,

"as well as additional STEM teachers and STEM support as we look to bolster that area of the curriculum in anticipation of the Computer Science Magnet opening at Hiram High School in 2020."
