Paulding Pastor, DFCS Chair Appointed To GA Advisory Board
A Dallas pastor with a passion for foster care was named Monday to the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services' advisory board.
DALLAS, GA — A Dallas pastor and chair of the Paulding County DFCS Board is one of four new appointees to the state advisory board to Georgia’s Division of Family and Children Services.
The appointment of Randel Hambrick, Missions & Outreach Pastor at Vintage 242 Church in Dallas, was announced Monday by Gov. Brian Kemp’s office.
After spending 13 years in pharmaceutical sales, Hambrick founded Vintage 242 Church in 2009 with her husband Steve. In 2016, she launched Fostering Hope, a ministry of Vintage 242 that invests in and supports local foster families and children. In addition, Hambrick and her husband have fostered through Faithbridge Foster Care since 2014.

In 2018, she joined the Paulding County DFCS Board, where she is now chair. Additionally, she has served on the Regional Advisory DFCS Board since 2019 and acts as co-chairwoman.
Also appointed Monday were Allyson Christianson, a Glynn County social worker; Deke Copenhaver, former mayor of Augusta, Georgia; and Laci Gillis, a Blackshear attorney.
