Paulding Throws Support Behind Student

A Paulding County High School student was seriously injured in a May 17 accident.

Two benefits are planned for Nick Carney, the Paulding County High School student who was seriously injured in a May 17 accident.

According to the "Lets help Nick and his family!" online fundraising site:

"On friday, May 17th Nick carney got in an accident in paulding county. He was pinned in the vehicle until they were able to get the jaws of life to get him out. He was then life flighted to Grady memorial hospital where he still is now in critical condition. He has serious injury to his brain and is currently in a medically induced coma. This fundraiser is here to provide some extra support for him and his family, however they may need it. They are a hard working family, and need to be there for nick and not have to worry about other things. I encourage everyone to donate what they can to help. Anything helps! If You cant put in a donation just yet, your positive thoughts for this family will be enough."
