Cpl. Sam Driskell will be laid to rest in a traditional military burial service Monday, the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office said Friday.

The funeral for Driskell and his 12-year-old daughter Carolyn, who were slain in what investigators called a murder-suicide earlier this week at their Hiram-area home, will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 12 at West Ridge Church (3522 Hiram Acworth Highway) in Dallas. The funeral is open to the general public. The funeral arrangements for Driskell’s wife, Muachin Driskell, and the suspected shooter, step-son Felix Almonte, were not available as of Friday.

From Paulding County Sheriff’s Office:

Please see the attached images that detail all of the routes and parking plans for the funeral of Corporal Sam Driskell and his daughter Carolyn Driskell. West Ridge will have parking attendants on scene to help direct everyone where to park.

Law enforcement officers will report to Clark Funeral Home on Monday 01/12/15 at 9:00 am. At approximately 10:15 am law enforcement officers will escort Corporal Driskell and Carolyn Driskell (his daughter) from Clark Funeral Home to West Ridge Church.

The funeral for Corporal Driskell and Carolyn Driskell will begin at 11:00 am at West Ridge Church. The service is expected to last approximately two hours.

Once the funeral is concluded, due to the size of Bethel United Methodist Church and parking lot, only family, close relatives and friends, along with Paulding County Sheriff’s Office personnel will be invited to attend interment. The United States Army will conduct a traditional military burial service for Corporal Driskell at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. There will be a law enforcement procession from West Ridge Church to Bethel Church Road and GA 92. All non PCSO law enforcement vehicles will continue southbound on GA 92 and will not come to the church.
