Red Flag Fire Warning Saturday

A red flag fire warning is in effect from noon until 7 p.m. Saturday, with gusty winds and low humidities increasing the danger, according to the National Weather Service.

The warning means that critical fire weather conditions are occurring or will occur.

Winds will be up to 20 mph, with gusts up to 30 mph. Stronger winds will be in higher elevations.

"Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly," according to the weather service.

Outdoor burning is not recommended.

Check with local burn permitting authorities and use extreme caution if you are allowed to burn.
