Roads Out, Power Out In Paulding After Hurricane Michael
Here are a list of roads in Paulding County that are out of service and how many are still out of power, due to Hurricane Michael.
PAULDING COUNTY, GA — Paulding County Fire and Rescue has put out a list of roads that are closed or gone due to Hurricane Michael and GreyStone Power has updated the number of Paulding residents who are without power.
In the latest update from GreyStone Power, they say about 269 Paulding County customers don't have power.
"As the rain continues, crews are working all throughout our service area to restore service to members. We appreciate your patience as we work as quickly and safely as possible. Our current outages are: Carroll- 150, Cobb- 11, Coweta- 8, Douglas- 87, Fulton- 103 and Paulding- 269."

Here are the roads affected by Hurricane Michael, according to Steve Mapes at Paulding County Fire & Rescue:
* Gore Lakes Rd off of Mt Olivet is shut down - the road washed away
* Garmon Rd near Hughes Rd is shut down - deep water over roadway
* Hitchcock Rd off Ridge Rd is shut down - road washed way
* Woodrow Kay Rd near Proctor Rd is shut down - road washed away
* Bob Hunton Rd is shut down - water over the roadway and once water recedes the roadway needs to be checked for integrity.
* Williams Lake Rd is shut down - per DOT due to water over the roadway
* Mud Green Rd is shut down - per DOT due to water over the roadway

All of these are closed until further notice and DOT has placed barricades and signage.
