The Georgia State Patrol continues to investigate the crash, which happened around 11:35 p.m. Saturday and involved a GSP patrol car on southbound Ga. Hwy. 1 near Holly Springs Drive in Carroll County.
Three others, including a state trooper, were injured and taken to the hospital.
The state patrol said the preliminary findings indicated a 2005 Nissan, occupied by four teenagers, was attempting to turn left onto Holly Springs Drive in front of the patrol car and was struck on the right side. Both vehicles left the roadway.
