DALLAS, GA — A 17-year-old male was arrested Sunday night and charged with felony murder in connection with the stabbing death of his mother’s landlord, authorities said.

Elijah Nehemiah Harris was taken into custody after deputies found Brian Allan Johns, 58, “clinging to life with what appeared to be multiple stab wounds” at his Dallas, Georgia, home, according to a statement from the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office. Johns died soon thereafter.
