Paulding Fine Arts Fall Festival
October 10th - Saturday
10:00am to 4:00pm
Historic Downtown Dallas
Local Artists as well as new emerging artists and craft makers are being invited to showcase their finest original art work. Festival Food is provided by local civic groups. Continuous free entertainment with a variety of music, crowd-pleasing performances and fun activities for the children. Hope to see YOU there!

Appreciation Day & Family Festival
October 10th - Saturday
11:00am to 2:30pm
Veterans Memorial Park - Dallas
Come join us for our annual Appreciation Day and Family Festival at Veterans Memorial Park. We have some exciting new changes this year, including “Future Responders answer the call with Public Safety” and a dunking booth. And of course, you don’t want to miss the K9, SWAT and firefighter demonstrations. This event is fun for the entire family, and it’s free.
*Veterans Memorial Park is Located in Front of the Watson Government Complex in Dallas
4-H Zombie Run 5K
October 10th - Saturday at 8:00am
Silver Comet Trail at the Hiram Caboose
Registration opens at 7:00am. Registration is $20 for racers over the age 13 and $10 for 12 and under. Dress up for the occasion and see if you win the costume contest! Prizes will be awarded to the top three runners in the standard age categories. The race will be timed by Classic Race Services. GreyStone Power Annual Meeting
October 10th - Saturday
8:00am to 1:00pm
GreyStone Headquarters
4040 Bankhead Hwy - Douglasville
The Annual Meeting is a free event for those customers, known as members, who receive electricity from the
not-for-profit cooperative. The event will kick off with a free Chick-fil-A® biscuit, served from 8 to 10 a.m. Members can register in the GreyStone auditorium from 8 to 11 a.m. and are asked to bring an electric bill to simplify the registration process. Children will have plenty to keep them entertained with inflatables, games, balloon artists, face painting and a
chance to meet a lineman. At the Energy Efficiency Expo tent, local businesses will demonstrate the benefits of energy-efficient products and services.
