The NWS said the tornado began near Macland Road northwest of Hiram and travelled east towards Cobb County, making a four-mile journey.

Most of the damage was intermittent, the NWS said, but the most notable damage was on Cristy Drive where a dozen large trees were snapped or uprooted, one of which fell and hit the master bedroom of a house. No injuries were reported.
