As the Independence Day holiday falls on a Saturday, some services will have schedule changes the day prior.

PAULDING COUNTY, GA — Fourth of July is going to look different this year due to the ongoing pandemic. Paulding County's fireworks and many other celebrations are postponed or canceled, leaving residents to find ways to celebrate at home. But one thing we can count on is a scheduled holiday.
Because July 4 falls on a Saturday in 2020, the Independence Day holiday is observed on Friday, July 3. Gwinnett County government offices as well as Loganville and Grayson city offices will be closed, and other services will have schedule changes.
