Ankle and Foot Centers of Georgia Relocates Offices

Ankle and Foot Centers of Georgia has relocated its Decatur office to a new facility that has a larger surgical center.

The new, permanent office is at 215 Clairemont Ave., about 1.5 miles away from its former Church Street home.

Its goal in part was to make it more convenient for patients, the company said.

The company specializes in a number of foot maladies, including bone spurs, joint replacement surgery, foot and ankle tumors and toenail fungus among other health issues.

“We are excited to relocate our Decatur location to a permanent office in a more convenient location for our patients,” Joseph D. Giovinco, who founded the group in 1982, said in a statement. "Our physicians are dedicated to delivering the best in patient-centered care, a mission of ours since day one and provide convenience."

The new location will house the facility’s Decatur foot doctors and serve the community with the expanded surgical center.
