A 66-year-old Avondale Estates property on Olive Street will be redeveloped into a 25,000-square-foot, mixed-use building by January 2022.

AVONDALE ESTATES, GA — A development group is planning to redevelop a 66-year-old property in Avondale Estates into a mixed-use building by next year.

First reported by What Now Atlanta, the group — called 6 Olive Development LLC — plans to turn the property at 6 Olive St. into a 25,000-square-foot building housing 10 tenants. The $5.5 million project will mostly feature a mix of office space and a group of food and beverage tenants, and is expected to be up and running by January 2022.

Much of the existing building at the Olive Street property, located across Franklin Street from Little Tree Art Studios, will remain intact.
