Chipotle To Open in Downtown Decatur
The restaurant chain will open a shop in the Suntrust parking lot at West Ponce and Commerce.
Downtown Decatur is getting a new restaurant chain: Chipotle Mexican Grill is opening a location, Decatur Metro reports.
The restaurant will open in part of the Suntrust building, according to the article, citing information from a city official.
The first Chipotle opened in 1993 in Denver and now has more than 1,400 restaurants across the United States, as well as in Canada, France and England.

There are already three Chipotles operating within five miles of Decatur: at 1401 Oxford Road near Emory University, 2963 N. Druid Hills Road near the Toco Hills Publix and 718 Ponce de Leon Ave. near Freedom Parkway.
