3 Arrested After Fight, Stabbing at Breast Cancer Charity Event

Villa Rica police: The stabbing victim was taken to the hospital after the fight was allegedly started by motorcycle club members.

A Winston, Ga., man was one of three motorcycle club members arrested after a fight and stabbing was reported at a Villa Rica restaurant hosting a breast cancer charity event this week.

Villa Rica Police responded around 3 p.m. Monday to the Watering Hole Sports Bar on Bankhead Highway on a call about a stabbing incident during the motorcycle charity event.

“During the investigation it was discovered that members of the Hard Life Motorcycle Club had started a fight in which an individual was stabbed,” police said in a news release.

The injured person was life-flighted to Atlanta Medical Center, and was listed as stable Wednesday, police said.

One club member was arrested at the scene. He was identified as Johua Daniel Wood, 25, of Carrollton, who was charged with aggravated assault, battery and violation of the Georgia Street Gang Act.

Arrested and charged on Tuesday were club members Miles Eugene Gladhill, 48, of Winston, and John Robert Quick, 28, of Riverdale. Both face the same charges as Wood, police said.

Police are still investigating the incident and additional arrests are expected.
