3 Wanted for Waffle House Shooting Nabbed in Fugitive Arrests
U.S. Marshals and the Douglas County fugitive task forces arrested five fugitives on Tuesday.

Five fugitives, including three wanted in connection to an August shooting outside a Waffle House restaurant in Douglasville, have been arrested, police said.
The United States Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Douglas County Fugitive Division made the arrests Tuesday, Sept. 22 at three locations in the county, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.
Lafayette Bradly, Dennis Robinson, and Jeremy Caldwell, all of Douglasville, were wanted for the Aug. 30 shooting at the Fairburn Road Waffle House that reportedly wounded Paul Hampton of Austell.

Douglasville Police said the 3:15 a.m. incident happened after a dispute between two groups of people.
Bradley was arrested at an address on McIntosh Road, Caldwell and Robinson surrendered at an address on Lake Monroe Road, the sheriff’s office said.

Also arrested Tuesday, at another Douglasville address, were two alleged fugitives wanted in Cobb County. Joshua Gore of Austell and Melvin Evans were arrested at a residence on Washington Drive, the sheriff’s office said.
Evans is wanted for murder, Gore is wanted for burglary and failure to appear.
All the suspects were arrested without incident.
