Burglar Crawled on Floor to Avoid Motion Detectors, Police Say

Douglasville PD and DCSO are seeking info on a series of recent convenience-store burglaries

The Douglasville Police Department and Douglas County Sheriff’s Office are seeking information concerning a series of recent convenience-store burglaries in the county.

Douglas PD said there have been at least five cases since mid--September.

In those burglaries, the suspect removed a pane of glass from the front door, then crawled across the floor to avoid setting off motion detectors.

Money and lottery tickets were stolen in the burglaries.
