Douglas County Dancing Event To Benefit Cancer Patients

Douglas County's assistant communications director will participate in the 6th annual “Dancing with the Stars of Loving Arms Cancer Outreach” event benefiting local cancer patients and survivors. Douglas County native TJ Jaglinski and his partner Kelly Bell, owner of Southern Dance Precision, are one of eight dance teams participating, the Douglas County Board of Commissioners (DCBC) said in a news release.

Jaglinski and Bell will hit the dance floor at the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel and Conference Center, located at 2450 Galleria Parkway, Atlanta, on September 7. The silent auction begins at 5:30 p.m., dinner is at 6:30 p.m., and the show starts at 7 p.m.

Loving Arms Cancer Outreach is an organization that was founded by two nurses, Diana Hurst and Shamichael Traylor in 2011. With their combined 30 years of experience, they turned their vision into a mission by providing support groups, education, and financial assistance to families in need during cancer treatment.
