Most of the cost of the resurfacing is being funded by the local 2016 SPLOST program with some funding by the Georgia Department of Transportation (LMIG) grant.  Citizens can check to see which roads are part of the resurfacing by going to the Douglas County government website www.celebratedouglascounty.com Â
