Douglasville Woman Accused of Stealing Syringes

She allegedly injected heroin inside a Cobb pet store.

Julia Miller, 22, allegedly entered a PetSmart near Town Center at Cobb Friday afternoon, went to the veterinary section and asked employees for a syringe, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

After the employees told her no and started assisting other customers, Miller allegedly stole two syringes from a drawer in a private room, went into the store’s bathroom and injected herself with heroin using the syringes, according to the AJC.

She is being held in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center in lieu of $10,000 bond on charges that include heroin possession, drug possession and theft by taking, according to online jail records.
