Falcons Fans Can See Atlanta Games In Person Starting In October
Mercedes-Benz Stadium will allow a limited number of fans in, starting with the Atlanta Falcons' Oct. 11 game against the Carolina Panthers.

ATLANTA, GA — The Atlanta Falcons will begin allowing a limited number of fans into Mercedes-Benz Stadium, starting with the team’s home game against the Carolina Panthers on Oct. 11.
Team and stadium officials announced the decision Tuesday, saying that they based it in part on the recent decline of COVID-19 cases in Georgia.
Officials decided on Aug. 17 to play without fans through September, which would affect two Falcons home games and three home matches for Atlanta United, the Major League Soccer team that also calls the stadium home.

"We are thrilled to invite fans of both the Falcons and Atlanta United back to Mercedes-Benz Stadium," says Steve Cannon of AMB Sports and Entertainment, which manages the facility.
"Having fans watch from alternative locations was a difficult, but important decision,” Cannon said. “It's been challenging for both teams to play without fans, but their well-being as well as the safety of our associates and fans was paramount."
