DOUGLASVILLE, GA -- From food trucks to Wednesday Wind Down to Juneteenth, here's what's going on in Douglasville.

Wednesday Wind Down returns to O'Neal Plaza

The Wednesday Wind Down Summer Concert Series is back at O'Neal Plaza this year, and it kicked off June 5.

Concerts will take place each Wednesday, June 5 - August 14, on O'Neal Plaza from 7 - 9:30 p.m.

Food Truck Mondays are Underway!

The Main Street Douglasville program will host three lunch time food truck events and one evening food truck event with over 10 gourmet trucks to chose from each Monday in June! Join them in downtown Douglasville for a unique food truck experience every Monday in June! To stay up to date with the trucks expected each week, check out the Main Street Douglasville Facebook Page.

Juneteenth Celebration

Douglasville's 2019 Juneteenth Celebration returns to O'Neal Plaza in downtown Douglasville on Saturday, June 15 with a family-fun festival that is free and open to the public from 10 AM until 8 PM. The festival will include bounce houses and train rides, live entertainment, bingo, and vendors from all over the Metro (health and wellness, food & beverage, and Arts & Crafts), and finish off the evening with a free concert.

Screen on the Greens comes to Hunter Park

Georgia Game's Fishing Derby

Cast your line and see what you can catch at the annual Fishing Derby at Hunter Park. Don’t forget to bring your own bait, tackle, and fishing rods.

The Fishing Derby at Hunter Park is June 22 from 9 a.m. to Noon.

Prizes awarded for most fish caught. The age divisions are 0-4, 5-8, 9-12, 13-17, & 18 and up.

Pre-Registration at www.douglasvillega.gov is highly encouraged. This event is free for all ages.
