Georgia Gravity Games Draw Racers, Fans to Douglasville
Gravity-powered cars steal the show in second annual event. See photos from the event.
Google, Georgia Tech and the City of Douglasville welcomed more than 30 teams and hundreds of spectators for the second annual Georgia Gravity Games Saturday.
Gravity Games is a real-world experience for students and adults from across the state to use STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education and skills to build and race their own gravity-powered cars, which are propelled downhill by gravity alone to get them across the finish line.
The event included two divisions: kit cars and engineered cars.
