Highway 92 New Route Updates

On July 15, 2021, the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) will close the railroad crossing at Campbellton Street and Veteran's Memorial Highway.

Since traffic has already been shifted onto the new Highway 92, it's recommended if you're trying to access I-20 or the south side of Douglasville that you use this new route. GDOT is working to have upgrades to the new McCarley Street crossing which will include a double-lighted intersection completed prior to the closing of the Campbellton Street crossing. Once the Campbellton Street crossing closes, you will need to use the new McCarley Street intersection to get across the railroad tracks in this area.
