Horseshoe Tournament Winners Announced
Trophies were awarded for first, second and third place in each division.
Horseshoe throwers competed last weekend in the annual Horseshoe Tournament at Jessie Davis Park, and the winners have been announced.
Douglasville's Chris Holloman was the singles champion, while Cory Lyda and Lamar Arnold took the doubles title, according to the Douglas County Sentinel.
Holloman beat out Leon Robinson and Michael Welch to earn the singles title. In the doubles division, he and partner Bernard Heard finished third behind Troy Stapler and Donald Rowell of Buchanan, according to the Sentinel.
