Interstate 20 Construction Continues This Weekend
Several lanes in the area will be closed between Friday and Sunday.
DOUGLASVILLE, GA -- The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is reminding motorists that several construction projects along Interstate 20 will be resuming this weekend.
Work that will be going on this weekend in the Douglasville area includes:
_ One westbound lane will close between the I-285 interchange and SR 70/Fulton Industrial Boulevard from 5 a.m., Saturday until 5 a.m., Sunday.

_ One eastbound lane will close between Riverside Drive and just after Thornton Road from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Monday.
_ The SR 6/Thornton Road southbound entrance to I-20 eastbound will close from 9 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Saturday. Traffic traveling on SR 6/Thornton Road to I-20 eastbound will make a U-Turn and enter the SR 6/Thornton Road north entrance to I-20 eastbound.
