Lane Closures On I-20 In Douglas County

Georgia Department of Transportation has just released the following information regarding expected traffic delays in Douglas County this week.

Motorists should expect traffic delays and plan for additional travel times, alternate modes of transportation and/or alternate routes to their destinations. Weather permitting, these are the scheduled overnight and daytime closures:

I-20 eastbound:

• Two left lanes closed daily beginning Monday, August 12 through Thursday, August 15 from 3 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. the following mornings.

I-20 westbound:

• The center lane and right lane closed each night beginning Monday, August 12 through Thursday, August 15 from 7 p.m. until 2 p.m. the following day.
