Man Shoots Two At Douglas County Motel, Flees Scene: Police

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — A man that police say shot two people in Lithia Springs Monday night is on the run, and authorities need the public’s help to find him.

According to Douglasville police, an argument led to Mike Clark shooting the victims at about 7:30 p.m. at the Budgetel Inn on Waterford Club Drive. Clark then fled in a light blue 2004 Volkswagen Passat, Mississippi tag CVB7146.

Neither victim suffered life-threatening injuries, according to police as reported by WAGA-TV in Atlanta. Clark is charged with two counts of aggravated assault.

Clark is described as a Black male, 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 120 pounds.
