DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Meet Patrick, the Douglas County Animal Shelter's longest resident.

When he came to the shelter over half a year ago at the age of 1, the shelter says, he had considerable hair loss, but has now regrown much of it and "has blossomed into a great looking dog."

He's still waiting for a forever family.

Patrick is a healthy pup. He's fully vetted, heartworm negative and weighs about 45 pounds.

He's dog friendly and loves playing outside.
