Teen Reported Missing in Douglas County

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a teenager who has been missing since mid-August.

The sheriff’s office said on Facebook Leandra Renee Thompson, 17, went to New Manchester High School on Aug. 14, and did not return home. She was last seen in the area of Fulton Industrial Boulevard.

She is described as an African American with a light complexion, 5-foot-10 and 130 pounds,

She has a medium-sized tattoo of pinkish red stars and lips on her neck, the sheriff’s office said.

The sheriff’s office advises if you see Leandra, do not approach her. Call 911 to report you have seen a missing child.
