NCNW NWGA Section

Domestic Violence Awareness Month, October

The National Council for Negro Women (NCNW), Northwest Georgia (NWGA) Section will raise awareness during the month of October in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, entitled, My Sister’s Chair, a hair product drive for women and children of African descent. This is a part of the NCNW State of Georgia Warming Hearts and Home Activities.
Please help support us in this important project by contributing generously at one of the locations. Donations will be accepted Saturday, October 17th and 24th in Douglas and Paulding Counties. The donations will be collected and sorted by hair products and accessories. The donations will be given to local shelters for women and children impacted by family violence.
DROP OFF POINTS and times are as follows:
Douglas County - 17 and 24 October 2020 9am-NOON

Each Captain/team will have purple balloons on their car to identify drop off exact location. This will be a contactless drop off.
