Police: Subdivision Shooting Incident An Isolated Case
Douglasville PD: Shots were fired Monday night after armed men approached a resident and had an exchange of words. The resident wasn't hurt.

Douglasville Police believe a reported shooting incident Monday night in an area neighborhood was an isolated case.
Police said the shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. inside the Hunter’s Ridge subdivision.
“Two armed subjects approached a resident of the community and after a brief exchange of words, shots were fired. The resident was not injured,” police said in a news release.

With evidence gathered at the scene, police are hopeful charges with follow.
“We believe this is an isolated incident,” police said. “Therefore, we do not feel residents have reason to fear further violence.”
