Neighbor News

Read, Could save your life!

Let's watch out for ourselves and our neighbors!

We all go out in public, most of us not anticipating anything to happen. We have our β€œnormal” Publix, Kroger or Walmart trip, our normal restaurant or gas station trip but anything can happen with a simple trip that you think may be routine. Pay attention to cars that drive up while you’re pumping gas, pay attention while walking into and out of stores. I see so many people not paying attention. There are thugs out in every city and county and they don’t have a face or certain attire all the time. A thug can be any race and doesn’t have to be wearing a hoodie or ski mask! Look out for your neighbors. I was recently at the car wash and saw a lady vacuuming her vehicle. She was in the back deeply in her car, her purse sitting on the front seat and her car running, and I have to alert people about awareness. Please be more aware when you’re out because anything can happen. Be cautious, be cautious, be cautious. Douglas County is OUR HOME. We all have different beliefs, religions, political preferences and other things, however let’s come together like never before and look out for each other, keeping Douglas County and making Douglas County one of the safest places to live! Fortify your homes at night, arm yourselves, have surveillance cameras placed around your home. We live in a time where people will kick in your door not caring if you have children, not caring for your safety. Sorry for the long post, but I care about the well being of you and your family. We all live here in Douglas County, all of our children attend school here, we shop here, eat here and have a right to be comfortable and enjoy life! Douglas County UNITED!!! β€œWhere there’s unity, there’s strength”!!
