Six Months Of Work Under Way At Mason Creek Road
The work will occasionally require complete lane closures and motorists are urged to avoid the area if possible.

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Several months worth of work has begun on Mason Creek Road, as traffic engineers work to improve a busy and dangerous track of Douglas County roadway.
The roadwork, which began Tuesday, is happening on Mason Creek Road, between Post Road and U.S. 78. The project is expected to take about six months, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
The work will, at times, require complete lane closures, county officials said.
