Snow Timeline in Douglasville

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — A Winter Weather Advisory continues in Douglasville until 7 p.m. Saturday.

There is the potential for light snow and ice accumulating, and the potential for black ice.

Rain will become mixed with snow and transition to snow Friday night and early Saturday.

In Douglasville, the weather service is predicting accumulations of less than an inch of snow. Rain will continue into the evening, turning to snow around 7 p.m. Snowfall should move out of the area around 7 a.m.

The weather service stresses the potential for black ice as temperatures drop.

Snow on trees and windy conditions may down a few trees and power lines, resulting in some power outages.

Winds may gust up to 35 mph beginning Friday evening, according to the weather service.
