Teens pack Halloween goody bags for home-bound citizens

YMCAs across Metro Atlanta provide teen outreach opportunities throughout the year

By Kali Mann

NEWNAN, GA β€” On October 20, 2018, The Summit Family YMCA's Teen Leaders Club partnered with Meals On Wheels of Coweta to pack 150 halloween goody bags to serve home-bound citizens in Coweta County. This outreach event is an example of how the YMCA encourages youth and teens to reach their full potential by mastering life skills needed to become positive adult citizens.

Programs and activities such as this foster personal growth and awareness. The Summit Family YMCA provides teen memberships and several opportunities for teens to get involved in their community throughout the year.
