Thank You Douglas County citizens, providers, stakeholders, advocates, state representatives and legislators who worked hard to create House Bill 987, which will increase staff training, improve staffing ratios, require special certification for memory care units, and increase fines for those that intentionally harm a resident. This journey started in January of this year and is now a WIN, the bill is on its way to Governor Kemp for signature.
