Thunderstorms, Winter Weather Possible In Douglasville This Week
A hazardous weather outlook has been issued for Douglas County ahead of possible storms.
DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Douglasville residents are warned to be wary of thunderstorms and wintry precipitation this week, according to a hazardous weather outlook from the National Weather Service.
The area will see a slight chance of thunderstorms between Wednesday and Thursday nights. Winter weather could also come to the area over the weekend, but the forecast remains uncertain, according to the NWS.

- Tuesday: A 20 percent chance of rain is expected despite partly sunny skies with a high temperature near 63 degrees. Temperatures will fall to around 46 overnight.
- Wednesday: Chances of rain on Wednesday increase to 30 percent as mostly cloudy skies prevail and temperatures climb to around 60 degrees. During overnight hours, showers could give way to a thunderstorm after 8 p.m. Temperatures will drop to around 50 degrees.
- Thursday: Showers and the possibility of a thunderstorm continue Thursday as temperatures climb to 62 degrees. Temperatures will drop to around 45 degrees overnight as showers continue.
- Friday: Precipitation will taper off throughout the day as temperatures climb to 56 degrees. A slight possibility of showers will remain overnight as temperatures drop to around 38 degrees.
- Weekend: Slight chances of showers will continue on Saturday and Sunday with temperatures ranging from a low of 31 to a high of 46. Slight chances of winter weather are also possible during the weekend, according to the NWS.
