ThunderZone Family Entertainment Center Opens in Douglasville
The new bowling and family fun center is scheduled to open on June 22.

General Manager Drew Patel is excited to announce the opening of a new bowling alley and arcade.
ThunderZone Family Entertainment Center is scheduled to open on June 22 and celebrated their opening with a DC Chamber Ribbon Cutting at their location in Douglasville, 3140 Bright Star Road.
ThunderZone Family Entertainment Center is designed to be a fun place for people of any age to come and bowl, play games, and eat delicious food from JR’s Sports Bar and Grill. They have 18 traditional bowling lanes, and 10 VIP bowling lanes, which are great for large groups with their soft sofas and large projection screen TVs.
ThunderZone also features bumper cars, a 4800-square foot arcade area, and a unique two story laser-tag room allowing players to delve deeper into the experience, and is also the largest laser-tag space in the area. ThunderZone, along with parties, also hosts corporate events such as team building.
DC Chamber Chairman, Matt Barrington, welcomed Drew Patel and ThunderZone into the Douglas County community, “On behalf of the Chamber, we are excited to see how your business will grow and flourish in our community.”
Mayor Harvey Persons, Commission Chairman Tom Worthan, and many local elected officials were also present at the Ribbon Cutting. Mayor Persons offered his congratulatory remarks and thanked Drew for opening his business in Douglasville.
