Each Thursday in December, Patch is highlighting a local GoFundMe campaign in the area.

Today's focus is Beyond The Front Porch. From their fund-raising page:

"Beyond the Front Porch is a 501c3 organization that has the awesome mission to bring back the experience of educational field trips to our school aged children! On the second Saturday of each month we take students and their parents to different places of educational value throughout Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee. Since the budget cuts in a lot of our nation's schools many children have been missing out on these valuable experiences that add great value and perspective to what they are learning in the classroom!"
