What's Open, Closed In Douglas County For Christmas 2019

DOUGLASVILLE, GA - Don't plan a last minute trip to your government offices on Christmas Eve.

Both the city offices and the county will be closed. That includes Parks and Recreation and both court systems.

Schools are out and won't return until Jan. 7.

Christmas is a federal holiday and all U.S. Postal Service post offices will be closed. No mail will be delivered or sent. Regular business hours will resume Dec. 26.

The county's bus service will not run Christmas or New Year's day. The Christmas Eve operating schedule for Connect Douglas will be 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. On New Year's Eve, the new bus system will operate on its usual schedule from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
