Alexander High will represent Douglas County in the Georgia High School Association football playoffs this weekend.

Alexander is the lone county school to advance.

The Cougars (8-2) plays at Gainesville in the first round. Alexander finished third in Region 5; Gainesville was second in Region 8, according to the GHSA playoff brackets.
