Construction Gas Leak Closes Part Of Pleasant Hill Road In Duluth
Construction crews working in the area of Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth struck a gas line just before 6 PM. A portion of the road is closed.
DULUTH, GA - Pleasant Hill Road between Mall Boulevard and Satellite Boulevard has been closed due to a gas leak, according to Gwinnett fire officials
Construction crews working in the area in Duluth struck a gas line just before 6 PM.
The Gwinnett County Police Department and the Gwinnett County Fire Department have both responded to the area and have closed off the road.

Traffic is being diverted from the area and no vehicles will be allowed to travel either direction on the affected portion of Pleasant Hill Road until the gas leak is fixed.
Firefighters are monitoring gas readings in the area and three businesses in close proximity are staying in place. There are no evacuations and no injuries, fire officials said.

Atlanta Gas & Light officials are working to stop the leak from a service line as Hazmat monitors gas readings. Firefighters have a hose line on the ground to protect AGL crew and exposures.
