Here are the top stories today in Duluth:
- Gwinnett Young Professionals announced 35 under 35 winners. Gwinnett Young Professionals is a group that was created by the Gwinnett Chamber to encourage all young professionals to continue to show their leadership skills. Congrats to our local winners! (Patch)
- Gwinnett Veterans History Museum volunteers are fighting an ongoing battle to raise public awareness of the museum's existence. The effort is done to make sure the public is aware of the Veterans History Museum in order to educate the public on Gwinnett County's involvement in fighting for our freedom. (Gwinnettdailypost.com)
- There is a new scholarship that honors Gwinnett superintendent’s late wife, Celeste Wilbanks. The scholarship is funded by Peach State Federal Credit Union and will reward each student who receives it with $5,000. (Atlanta Journal Constitution)
- There's one person dead and one hospitalized after a Gwinnett County apartment shooting at Durant Sugarloaf Apartments. Officials say that they do not know whether or not the people knew each other before the altercation or if it was a random act of violence. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
- Dietary supplement company, Catalyst Nutraceuticals, is moving to Gwinnett from Alpharetta and is continuing to expand. The store offers sports nutrition, herbal and vitamin supplements, and mixed drink powders. (Atlanta Journal Constitution)
